Low-temperature shipment records
Record cold conditions. Retrieve the journey history.
Probe-free USB temperature logger for dry-ice monitoring, with a specified −80°C to +70°C range and automatic PDF/CSV reports.
The Tempmate®-C1 records low temperatures with an internal sensor, removing the need for a separate measurement probe in its intended dry-ice applications. An LCD provides local information, and its USB interface creates PDF and CSV reports for review.
The current manufacturer datasheet specifies −80°C to +70°C. Match the expected exposure and recording settings to that range: prolonged or repeated exposure below −80°C may affect recording duration and time accuracy. The logger permits multiple starts and stops within its limited 90-day lifecycle.

Designed for low-temperature recording
A defined range and a practical report workflow.
Plan placement, handling, and report retrieval around the conditions of the consignment.
Internal low-temperature sensing
Record with the probe-free device within the current specified range of −80°C to +70°C.
PDF and CSV files
Retrieve automatic reports through USB and retain the files with your shipment or campaign records.
Configurable recording
Use tempbase Cryo to prepare supported alarm, start, stop, and measurement-interval settings.
Limited restart window
Multiple starts and stops are possible within the 90-day period after first activation; this is not unrestricted multi-use operation.

Preparation and retrieval
Plan the full low-temperature workflow.
Follow the supplied instructions and the current range specification for your unit.
Configure & activate
Check expiry, settings, and expected exposure. Prepare the configuration in tempbase Cryo if required, then start and confirm recording.
Place & record
Keep the USB protection cap fitted and position the logger as defined by the monitoring plan. Review expected exposure against the specified range.
Warm, dry & read
After the campaign, allow the logger to return from low temperature and ensure the USB connection is dry before connecting. Retrieve and save the generated reports.
Low-temperature applications
A record around sensitive cold-chain materials.
Confirm the range, exposure duration, and placement before including the C1 in a monitoring plan.

Dry-ice consignments
Assess the C1 for the planned pack-out and expected temperature exposure, with a clear record-retrieval routine at receipt.

Research material transport
Connect a defined low-temperature campaign with the handling requirements and documentation used by the responsible research team.

Pharmaceutical cold-chain review
Retain recorded conditions for assessment alongside the product requirements, consignment details, and your internal procedures.
Product enquiries
Discuss the expected low-temperature exposure.
Share the pack-out, temperature range, journey duration, and report requirements so we can assess the C1 configuration for your monitoring plan.
Enquire about this productIs the current C1 specified down to −90°C?
The current manufacturer datasheet, version 3.0 from September 2026, specifies −80°C to +70°C. Earlier literature contains a −90°C figure. Use the current datasheet and confirm the supplied unit; prolonged or repeated exposure below −80°C can affect recording duration and time accuracy.
Can the C1 be restarted?
Multiple starts and stops are possible within the 90-day period after first activation. Restarting does not create a new 90-day lifecycle. Save the data and check remaining runtime and settings before another campaign.
